These trials are for players wanting to trial for DPNA's 2025 GBNL teams. GBNL caters for netballers over the age of 15 only.
TRIALS
ALL AGES
Trial #1: Monday 3rd February, 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Trial #2: Monday 10th February, 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Nominations close: Friday 31st January 2025, 5:00pm

TRIAL ATTENDANCE
Players must attend all trial sessions. Players unable to attend due to injury must provide DPNA with a medical certificate and a "return to play" plan to be considered for selection. Any unexplained absences will result in the player being ineligible for selection. Any exceptions to this will only be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account individual circumstances. Players unable to attend any session for legitimate reasons must email repinfo@downeypark.com.au with this information.
All sessions will take place at the DPNA courts.
TRIAL OUTCOMES
One or two teams for each age group will be selected after trials, should numbers allow. Training Partners may be selected dependent on numbers and age group.
GBNL DATE COMMITMENTS
The 2025 GBNL season will start with grading matches in late March. GBNL Fixtures commence on Thursday 01 May 2025 (23s & Opens) & Friday 02 May 2025 (16s & 18s) and will play 14 Fixtures Rounds with finals expected to be end of August 2025
GBNL AGE GROUPS
16s - for players born 2009 & 2010
18s - for players born 2007 & 2008
23s - for players born 2006 - 2002
Opens - for players 24 or over (born 2001 and earlier)
NOTE: All players will be required to train in their own age group. Moving up an age group is at the discretion of DPNA.

Terms and conditions
- Players have to have a playing history with DPNA unless they've recently moved into the area or submit in writing their nomination to play for DPNA to repinfo@downeypark.com.au
Players playing rep for DPNA are expected to play club in the 2025 fixtures season. Players over the age of 18 may apply for an exemption from playing club in writing to repinfo@downeypark.com.au.
ALL GBNL PLAYERS are required to take part in two give-back sessions over the season. Each player will be required to give back two hours total to one of DPNA's programs.
Any player who is deemed currently "not financial" will not be able to register for GBNL Trials. This includes players who owe fees to their club or to DPNA from previous seasons.
Please note, any player who withdraws after the announcement of the teams (depending on the nature of the reason), will not be able to trial for DPNA the following representative season.
