Teams from all associations are invited to participate in the 2025 DPNA & Madison Sport Club Carnival.

Please note, carnival teams do not have to be the same as teams playing in DPNA weekly fixtures (you can merge teams). Teams must be entered into the age group of the oldest player on the team.

Boys are welcome to play in teams in the 7/8/9s, 10s, 11s + 12s age groups.

EOIs will be taken for a 13 years+ mixed or men's division, with a competition for these teams dependent on numbers.

Each team is required to supply a suitably qualified umpire. The 7/8/9s division games can be facilitated by coaches instead of a separate umpire. NOTE: DPNA cannot supply umpires for this event.

Representative teams may take part but will be considered non-competitive (no medals awarded).

Competitive Grades:
Seniors: 16s and older (born 2009 or earlier) AGE GROUP FULL
Juniors: 13s - 15s (born 2012/2010)
12 years (born 2013)
11 years (born 2014) AGE GROUP FULL

Non-Competitive Grades:
10 years (born 2015) - (full rules) AGE GROUP FULL
7/8/9 years (born 2018-2016) - (modified rules)

Venue: Downey Park Netball Association, Cnr Northey St & Green Tce, Windsor
Games Commence: 8:00am
Games Conclude: 4:00pm approx.

All games will consist of two 10-minute halves with a 2-minute break at half time and 3 minutes between games. All games will be centrally timed. Teams can expect to play 6 or 7 games during the carnival. First round will commence at 8:00am and the last round will finish at approx. 3:30pm.

Fees: $110 per team

Registrations close 18 July or earlier if full.

Terms and conditions

  • 1. NOMINATIONS Please be advised that DPNA Carnival fills fast! Teams will be accepted on a "first in" basis. Nominations will be accepted until the age group/division is full. Once this occurs, no more teams will be accepted into that group even though this may occur prior to the closing date.
    2. GRADING DPNA reserves the right to regrade teams in any grade if insufficient teams nominate.
    3. DRAW The carnival draw will be available on Netball Connect at least 2 business days prior to the carnival commencing. Games will consist of 2 x 10min halves.
    4. UMPIRES Each team must provide one competent umpire properly attired. The umpire will be required to umpire the team's own games and cannot be the team coach. NB DPNA does not supply umpires.
    5. UNIFORMS Players must wear matching uniforms.
    6. DISPUTES Any dispute will be dealt with by the DPNA Executive Committee and its decision will be final.
    7. FIRST AID First Aid will be provided for injuries incurred at this event only. No other injuries will be treated. Our First Aid Trainers are fully qualified and are to be respected. It is your choice whether to accept the Trainer's advice.
    8. AWARDS Medals will be awarded to winners and runners-up in each competitive division (10 medals per team). Modified (non-competitive) game players will not receive an award. Rep teams are welcome on a non-competitive basis however no medals will be awarded to Rep teams.
    9. FOOD/BEVERAGES A canteen service will be available throughout the day including hot food, drinks etc.
    10. WITHDRAWALS Withdrawal by any team from time of nomination up until 4 Business Days prior to the event will result in a non-refundable $30.00 administration fee. Withdrawal by any team 3 Business Days or less prior to the event will result in the forfeit of the total Nomination fee.
    11. MANAGERS The registering person will be added to Netball Connect as the manager.
