Greater Brisbane Netball League Trials 2024 Information and registration

These trials are for players wanting to trial for DPNA's 2024 GBNL teams. GBNL caters for netballers over the age of 15 only.

23s & OPENS
Trial #1: Tuesday 6th February, 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Trial #2: Tuesday 13th February, 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Nominations close for 23s & Opens: Monday 5th February 2024, 5:00pm

16s & 18s
Trial #1: Friday 1st March 2024 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Trial #2: Friday 8th March 2024 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Nominations close for 16s & 18s: Thursday 29th February 2024, 5:00pm

$50

TRIAL ATTENDANCE
Players must attend all trial sessions. Players unable to attend due to injury must provide DPNA with a medical certificate and a "return to play" plan to be considered for selection. Any unexplained absences will result in the player being ineligible for selection. Any exceptions to this will only be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account individual circumstances. Players unable to attend any session for legitimate reasons must email repinfo@downeypark.com.au with this information.

All sessions will take place at the DPNA courts.

TRIAL OUTCOMES
Up to two teams for each age group will be selected after trials, should numbers allow. Training Partners may be selected dependent on numbers and age group.




GBNL DATE COMMITMENTS
The 2024 GBNL season will most likely start in late April, with teams playing either Thursday or Friday nights. Playing nights for each age group will be confirmed upon the release of the 2024 GBNL calendar.

GBNL AGE GROUPS
16s - for players born 2008 & 2009
18s - for players born 2006 & 2007
23s - for players born 2005 - 2001
Opens - for players 21 or over (born 2003 and earlier)

PRE-SEASON HIT OUT
Twilight Carnival Saturday 16th March at DPNA against other GBNL/EPL/TPL teams

GBNL TRAINING
Training will be on Tuesday nights, starting in March for the Opens and 23s teams, and after Senior State Age (April) for the 16s and 18s teams.
